Friday, December 21st
Wednesday, January 16th
Monday, January 21st
Collaborate with others to prototype, problem solve and persevere with a range of engineering challenges. Design structures, objects that float, objects that fly and objects that race!
This day of challenges was so well received in our last holiday programme that we’re running it again with a whole lot of new challenges. We can’t wait to see how you solve them!
(including a visit to Escape Artists)
Thursday, January 17th - Friday, January 18th
Create your own Escape Room experience! Work together with others to create a storyline, code cracking ideas, digital passwords, combination locks and secret locations.
We’ve built on our ideas from when we ran this in the October holidays. We realised that a lot of children hadn’t experienced Escape Rooms so we’re building that into our course. We’ll visit Escape Artists and try their escape rooms before making our own.
Tuesday, January 22nd - Wednesday, January 23rd
Make the impossible seem possible learning movie making special effects skills.
We look behind the scenes of everyday movies and see how they create their special effects and then we’ll learn how to create some of our own.
Thursday, January 24th - Friday, January 25th
Come and have a go at a range of the courses we offer. Work on your own or with others to learn more about any of the following:
- 3D Design & Printing
- Creating your own Virtual Reality
