Hatch is thrilled to support the Dunedin Technology Lending Library.

Our equipment can be dropped off and collected from Hatch using our locker and padlock system Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm and Saturdays 10am-1pm.

The maximum loan period is three weeks.

2019 loans start begin from February 11th.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The equipment can be booked through this page. Only bookings for schools who have signed up for the library (see below) will be accepted. Once a booking is confirmed, you will be sent a code. This code will open a padlock on a locker at Hatch. When you return the equipment, use the same code to gain access to the locker.

WHO CAN USE THE LENDING LIBRARY?

Any Dunedin school can register to use the library by completing this form. At this stage, we are not able to post equipment so schools need to have someone who can collect and drop off equipment from Otago Polytechnic.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Schools will be invoiced on a termly basis for their rentals. Pricing is between $10-$15 per week. This ensures the service will be sustainable and we can cover maintenance and acquisition of new equipment. Membership fees are free to schools in 2019.
